Janina

For the past 10 years Janina has been an active contribution to the Berlin music scene.

Underage and lively she drops out of school with 16, in order to convince a bank to grant her a loan. And off she ran to buy her first set of turntables, and start her vinyl colletion.

With plenty of time on her hands, now that she isnʼt occupied by the tedious school home work, she walks into the DNS Record store (Berlin) and asks for a job. For the next two years this formed her musical path, being a platform through which she has an easy access to music. During this time she sizes every moment to learn the technique and the history of music. She falls in love with the vinyl. But it is not enough for Janina, so she takes on the mission to the best party vibe and music in town, this is when she came across two very important encounters in her life: The BeatStreet Parties, and a friend, who by giving her her first 2 Perlon Records, totally changed her life...

Finally at the age 18 the first gigs mark her path and she forms part of the regular dj roster of Club Der Visionäre, Arena and Laguna Club. By today Janina is booked in a wide range of clubs like Rashomon, Watergate, Club of Visonaer, Weekend, LaRouch and Underground Club in Ibiza...just to Name a few. On the production side, she is working on a RMX for a label it based in Dresden/Germany.

After ten years of djing Janina has not given up the motivation to seek for new inspiration and is looking forward for the years to come. Eager she is expecting the new experiences.
